Requirements:
An athlete in category „totally blind“ in racing disciplines and in technical disciplines (that is mean in all Track-and-Field disciplines) obligatory compete blindfolded and he is guided by sighted guide. Blindfolds are given from organizers.
An athlete in category „residual vision“ in racing disciplines compete not blindfolded and if he wishes, because of the vision impairments, he can be guided by sighted guide.
The athlete has a right to decide who to be his guide or to use a guide provided by organizers.
Additional rule for the Sighted Guide in racing disciplines:
The sighted guide guides the deafblind athlete by hand through a tether (a piece of thong or similar) that is hold by both of them and the distance between them is no more 50 cm. (IBSA allows other techniques for guiding too, but these, that are more loose are not so safe for the deafblind or they depends on acoustic signals). The runner and the guide may decide together how to hold the tether. As well they can use other technique without tether but the distance between them to remains no more 50 cm. The runner and the guide are allowed to communicate each other. Guide is responsible to give start signals to the runner and to interpret the referee commands and announcement.
The sighted guide has not a right to run ahead of the deafblind athlete (not to leave the deafblind athlete behind during running and not to haul him forward). Tethers are given from organizers or the runner and guide can use their own tether.
Additional rule for the Sighted Guide in technical disciplines:
The sighted guide escorts the deafblind athlete to / from the competition area. The sighted guide (or other sighted assistant) orientates and aligns the deafblind athlete in the competition field at the throwing / jumping position. The guide can works as interpreter and transmits the referee commands and announced results (or to be used other interpreter responsible for communication and information help).

Each physical competitor must declare his/her age (how many years old) for year 2016 – please fill your age in form “List of participants” – see rule 10, item 2).
An individual ranking can be arranged if there are at least 4 competitors (entries) in the list. Only in the rarest situation we can accept only 3 athletes in the list, but it not is possible to accept only 2 or 1 competitors in the list.
